Emma's 1st day of Preschool

Emma did great on her first full day (read 2 hours and 15 mins) of Preschool! :) She has already made lots of new friends and seems to be really enjoying it! That makes Mama very happy. :)

Preschool visit day!
Just a quick shot right before we visited Emma's new school. Both teachers seem like they will be wonderful!

Just a few things we love about Emma's new school
The friendly climbable cow as you enter the building is fun for Emma and the fact that there is coffee for parents behind the cow is a nice touch for mama. :)

The front desk is covered with this cool work of art. Emma loves to find and have me find things in it with her.

We like that there are lots of kid sized things

We like the cool art work found both inside and out!

And we think it is very cool that they have steps up to a platform for the kids to see in the kitchen.

A trip to Lodi Farms with the preschool gang.
Even though Emma wasn't feeling 100% we decided to give the pumpkin farm field trip a go. We figured she was past the contagious stage and heck, she picked the cold up from another kid who wasn't past the contagious stage and was sent to school to pass on his germs too. She had a great time, especially with her friend Katie and we were able to find a perfect pumpkin to boot.

Family Fun Night at Preschool

Even though the field trip got off to a crazy start, Emma and I had a great time at the raspberry patch. I am fairly confident she ate way more than she picked but together we did manage to pick and keep a quart, enough to make Grandma Sandy's birthday pie! It was pretty funny to watch the mass of children follow Ms. Archer all around the patch. They do love her! We feel really lucky to have such great teacher for Emma's first school years.
