The Christmas Parade
For the 2nd year in a row we have bundled up to take part in the Christmas Parade. It was lots of fun (although we did all wonder if we still had toes afterward, and thankfully after we thawed the answer is yes- all are accounted for :).

The Christmas Parade and Christkindlmarkt
Emma's German preschool was asked to walk with Saint Nick and their St. Martin's lanterns in the parade this year. A storm hit right as we began the parade route. It was cold and exciting (we were right behind the dancing girls, good golly they must have been freezing!!), but the best part was really the Glühwein and Hot Chocolate in the warming tent. Besides isn't life grand when the hardest choice to make is whether to go for the candy cane or the chocolate covered pretzel? :)
