Getting ready for nifty 50s day at school!
Wow, how can it be that Emma has already been in 1st grade for 50 days?!?! Where has the time gone?? Looking forward to this afternoon as Mama and Keenan get to help serve root beer floats and watch the sock hop! :)

Grandpa Howe came for a visit to celebrate birthdays (just a little late this year for good reasons :). Emma had a lot of fun playing old maid, crazy 8s and go fish with Grandpa too!

Keenan's 1st Solid Food
Today Keenan turned six months old and was able to have his first taste of solid food. Like his big sister, Keenan's 1st food was sweet potato. He was interested in (and seemed to like) the first few bites. After about the 4th or 5th bite, he made the cutest wrinkled nose expression and shivered. Not so sure he liked it so much after all! :) We will see! :) Happy 1/2 year birthday baby Keenan! We love you!!

Gone are the days...
of us finding Keenan wherever we last put him down. He is on the move. This week he wiggled under the couch while playing on the floor. He was so proud of himself until he realized he had a really hard time getting back out! Luckily mama was right there to save him. :)
