Emma has been very interested in her little brother and has found a renewed interested in her baby dolls. She even carried one in her the sling for a spell yesterday. So sweet! :)

Keenan's 1st trip to the park
Though Keenan didn't see much beyond his stroller, Emma had a lot of fun. We ran into a friend of hers from school which of course made the trip a whole lot more fun! :)

Before and after the show...
Our new family of 4 posing together after the play(Mama sporting the sling already :o). Keenan is still less than a week old and did a fabulous job of sleeping through the whole play so Mama could enjoy Emma's performance! Grandma Mary Ann got a few cuddles before the performance, and Granny (Em and Keenan's Great Grandma) got to meet Keenan after the performance. What a great evening! :D

Going Buggy!!
Emma performed the role of the firefly narrator in the Kindergarten play "Going Buggy!" It was adorable!! All the kids did a great job! Emma did an awesome job of remembering and reciting her lines; she was also the only one who successful recruited an audience member to join in their buggy boogie! :o) So cute!

Keenan and his Grandparents
Keenan is very lucky to have such great grandparents. A very special thank you to Grandma Sandy for all of her help both before and after Keenan's birth. If there was laundry to be done or dinner to cook she was on it in a flash! Not to mention the countless hours of helping entertain Emma while her little brother stole lots of Mama and Papa's attention. Also a big thank you to Grandma Mary Ann and Grandpa Byron who loving watched Emma while we were giving birth, transported her back and forth to swimming and horseback riding; and who gave her lots of love an attention which helped the process of being away from her a whole lot easier. Soon Oma Inge and Opa Urban will join us from Germany. We can't wait for them to meet our little guy. So much love for our little cub already!!

Keenan James has arrived!!
On May 7th 2010 Keenan was born at 5:30 p.m.
We was 8 lbs 13.8 oz (4020 g) and was 21 and a half inches (54.6 cm) long. Emma is a great big sister who already loves her baby brother an awful lot! :)
