Emma's German school had their Easter party today. Though it was cold, we had a great time! My favorite part was watching my little monkey girl hunt for eggs. Though there were plenty of eggs on the ground, it was my little munchkin who decided to go for the ones on top of the play house! :)

Since we had to move out of our house for the weekend to have the floor refinished, we decided to have a mini vacation at a hotel not too far way. Emma loved having the pool (and the Disney Channel). :)

Since Jake the wild Mustang was too slow, Emma decided to try out the pony, Bully. And she was sure glad she did! She loved him! Her favorite part, trotting of course!!

What fun it was to have Lori and her boys up from SC for a visit! We miss having them in GR!! Missed having Kevin here too, but hopefully we will be able to see him this summer!

Emma's New Adventure- Horseback Riding Lessons
Emma began her horseback riding lessons last night and they went really well (especially considering they ended less than a half hour before her bed time)! She lead the horse, Jake, in from the fields, brushed him, saddled him up, learned how to turn, stop and make her horse go, and even began practicing how to make Jake walk in diagonals across the arena. She was very excited to be in control and really loved it! She is also excited that next week she will begin working on trotting, I think this was the first thing she told her Papa about the lessons; well that and Jake walked very slow. :) Thanks Grandma MA and Grandpa B for a great Christmas present for Emma!
