Christmas Eve
We had a wonderful day together with Grandma Sandy, Grandma Mary Ann and Grandpa Byron. We opened presents (including a few homemade ones from Emmie), ate too much raclette and cookies (oh and rum cake!), had fun watching Grandpa and Emma do fun science experiments and building a kaleidoscope, enjoyed hugs and good conversation. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family! We love you!!! Thanks for spending the day with us! Merry Christmas!!!

As always we enjoyed our time with Maddie and Meg! The mamas worked on a puzzle while the girls played and had fun together. Time with good friends is always cherished!

They even have matching outfits which Emma had to wear to Grandma's house the next day! :D

Kindergarten Holiday Performance
Oh there was much cuteness at Emma's program this morning. She looked especially cute in the new dress Grandma Sandy made for her! Though Emma has Laryngitis and we couldn't hear her sing, she put a few extra movements in the songs. My personal favs were her toe side taps for the last song and her mad face in "I'm getting nutin' for xmas"!

Gingerbread House Night at School!
What fun Emma and I had building her house at school with her friends. I think Emma ate as many decoration (maybe even more) than landed on her house. :)

As soon as we landed back in the US we headed out with Grandma Sandy to get our Christmas Tree!
We were a little tired, but Emma had fun chasing Grandma with the tree branches and riding the horse drawn wagon out to the fields. She was also happy to open her Advent Calendar at home too!
