Mardi Gras World
What fun Emma and I had at Mardi Gras World. We got to see how the floats for the parades were made, try on costumes, eat king cake and best of all (for Emma at least) get more beads!! :)

Emma loved this mask we bought at the French market. She earned quite a few smiles and complements as she sported it for several walks (and even to dinner one night).

We had a great time at the zoo in New Orleans!
The white tigers and white alligator were cool; but it was even cooler to pet the turtles, rat, hedgehog, chinchilla, and huge tortoise! We also didn't mind the nice warm sunshine either!!

Happy Valentine'S day!!!
Emma loves face paint and was thrilled to received some for Valentine's day. :)



















Emma also decided (in true Fancy Nancy fashion) to make parfaits for our after dinner treat. Yummy!!! She is a great cook!

Today was Emma's first day at her new school. She did great!! :)

Just a few things we love about Emma's new school
The friendly climbable cow as you enter the building is fun for Emma and the fact that there is coffee for parents behind the cow is a nice touch for mama. :)

Ariel Calling
Last night Emma received an enchanted call from Ariel wishing her a good night. She loved it!! :)

Finally!!!!
After 6 straight days of a fever over 101° and 2 different rounds of meds, Emma's fever finally broke! Today was also the first day she felt up to playing (guitar hero of course!) and eating (Indian of course!) We are glad to have our silly, happy girl back!!

Update 3
So, since Emma has a strep infection we have to wait until March 19th for a new surgery date. Keeping our fingers crossed we will be healthy next time around!
