I loved the look on Emma's face as she saw the presents under the tree and the over flowing stockings. She was so excited and fun to watch! We even got lots of thanks yous and hugs this morning too!

Nikolausfeier
St. Nikolaus came a little late this year to the German Kita, but we had so much fun we didn't even realize it wasn't the 6th! :)

The Christmas Parade and Christkindlmarkt
Emma's German preschool was asked to walk with Saint Nick and their St. Martin's lanterns in the parade this year. A storm hit right as we began the parade route. It was cold and exciting (we were right behind the dancing girls, good golly they must have been freezing!!), but the best part was really the Glühwein and Hot Chocolate in the warming tent. Besides isn't life grand when the hardest choice to make is whether to go for the candy cane or the chocolate covered pretzel? :)
