Saying goodbye to Oma Inge... After a fun week together, Oma had to head back to Germany. We had a great time and can't wait to see her again soon!

Emma had a GREAT idea!
She thought it would be fun to pull the K-ster in her wagon. With a little coconut milk and continued movement, Keenan was happy for a LONG time! :)

Happy 70th Birthday Grandpa Bob!
We threw a surprise party for Bob's 70th birthday; and surprised he was! :) Good friends joined us in helping celebrate his special milestone. Lori, Michelle and I had special wine bottles made, Oma Inge made yummy German Potato salad (and I made lots of other yummy things too). It was great to see a lot folks we hadn't seen in a while. Poor Jason didn't know what he was getting into when he climbed into the trampoline with Emma! :) Keenan happily played with the guest too. He even let John hold him for a minute! :) Thanks to all who helped us make this day special for Bob! :)

Oma Inge Day 2
On Oma's 2nd day in the USA we took a drive to Grandma Sandy's Lake House. Keenan got some good grandma time and a little time to splash in the bucket. Emma got to test out not only the new paddle boat, but her new "jet ski" as well. She loved the shooting water feature! Poor Oma and Papa! They both got a little wet! :)

Oma Inge Arrives!
Oma arrived from Germany Friday afternoon and (much to Emma's delight) had enough energy to jump with Emma for a little while. Oma was quite pleased Keenan took to her right away as well! What a great way to start the visit! :)

Playing in the dunes!
Emma LOVED the steepest dunes (as you can see below); running up them (how does she do it??), and sliding down them (even once falling down them). Keenan was pretty content to hang out in the backpack giving Mama a good workout! :) Even Charlie had a ball running free in the sun-kissed sand.

Pancake Breakfast!
Emma and Grandpa really got in pancakes this time around... no more boring circles; there were flowers, butterflies, turtles, and even an elephant!! What fun! Delicious too! :)
