Kletterwald

Emma at the Kletterwald!! Sarah, Lisa, Werner, Stella, Emma and Mama enjoyed a fun filled day at the climbing park! Emma was the youngest climber to date. We were all surprised how well she did and how much she loved the courses! She completed the first 2 courses. The other girls completed 4 of the courses and Werner and I completed all 5. It was quite a workout, but so much fun!!

Emma's 1st day at the Waldorf Kindergarten

The kindergarten experience while in Germany was a mixed bag. Emma loved being social, but unfortunately not all the kids were as social as she wanted them to be. It was hard for Emma and Mama when the big 6 year olds told her she couldn't play. She loved the playground and the toys though!

Having a blast at the natural (or at least more so than I think of most water parks) water park in the Black Forest

Out for a walk in the Black Forest
We had lovely weather, especially for late April, while we vacationed in the Black Forest. Long relaxing walks through the pines offered pleasant scents from the wild spring flowers and the trickling springs provided gentle and smooth music for our strolls. This made for a wonderful time in the woods.

We saw wildlife as well, but only the cat and a couple of insects stayed long enough for us to catch on film. Too bad the fox was so darn quick. It would have been a beautiful picture!
