Sue comes for a visit!
It had been too long, but we were very glad to spend some time with Sue. Keenan tested out the sprinkler for the first time while she was visiting and he loved it!! He also enjoyed the trampoline (one of his new favorite spots to be :-). Emma proudly showed off her tree house to Sue. We hope to reconnect with her soon and wish Sue all the best for her upcoming wedding!! We love you!

Keenan and Izzy
As Izzy was leaving the birthday party Keenan became quite interested in her (or at least her car seat!) It was really quite cute as he rocked her back and forth. Izzy's big sister Maddie is one of Emma's good friends. They have known each other since they were about a year old. So cute to see the next set growing up together too! :)

Emma's Dance Recital
Emma took Jazz this year and was so very excited that they got to dance to "True friends" by Miley Cyrus. Heaven for a 6 year girlie-girl, I tell you! :) The girls were so darn cute and better yet they had a great time together!

Keenan's 1st Birthday Party; Trying sweets
His birthday was Keenan's first day of getting sweets, but unlike his big sister, he wasn't a big fan of cake. He was interested in the marzipan lion figure, but didn't like the feel of the frosting and kept trying to wipe it off on me. Poor little bug cried when we stuck a little piece in his mouth. We decided not to torture him any further and left the cake for Mama and Papa to eat the rest of the week! :)

Grandma Sandy made the cute lion head cake, while I made the 2 marzipan adorned cakes. Grandma Sandy also came up with this very cool soba noodle salad lion face with a Thai spring roll mane. Grandma Mary Ann created the adorable hummus lion face. We all worked on lots of other dishes too! :) Yum! Thanks for all your help Grandma Sandy and Grandma Mary Ann!!

Keenan- Our New One Year Old!!
Keenan woke up a happy camper, who enjoyed opening presents with his sister, aunt, uncle, Grandma Sandy, Papa and Mama. He also enjoyed chasing bubbles and munching on his favorite breakfast- Pretzels from Benny's Bakery!! Happy birthday baby boy! We love you so very much!!!
